Join our team of River Fly volunteer monitors based throughout the Tyne Catchment.  Learn about invertebrates in the river and how we can use them to monitor the health of our rivers.

Tyne Rivers Trust will be delivering their River Fly Workshops at the Riverside Country Park Classroom, Prudhoe.

The 1 day workshop offers the opportunity to learn how to identify and record several key types of river fly larvae as part of the River Fly Partnership.  By the end of the day volunteers will be fully equipped with knowledge and equipment to monitor the burns in their area and feedback the information into the Tyne Catchment wide monitoring scheme supported by the Environment Agency.
