River Derwent Gibside

The Trust aims to increase access to affordable fishing on currently inaccessible waters and tributaries of the Tyne Catchment. The Tyne Angling Passport, in partnership with the Environment Agency, North Pennines AONB, farmers, landowners and fishermen, will increase access to angling, deliver additional income to landowners and farmers, gather information on wild fish populations and improve riparian habitat. Beat and population information will be used to assist in identifying areas where habitat or other improvements could be beneficial.
