EA agree start date for the Tyne Tunnel dredging

The Environment Agency will agree a start date of no earlier than 26th Sept 2009 for the new dredging method for the second Tyne Tunnel.  Additional conditions will include noise monitoring and extra fish tracking.  The EA will produce a Decision Document explaining the rationale behind this decision which will be publicised later.  Thank you to those who responded to the Tyne Rivers Trust consultation on the matter, this feedback was used by the EA in reaching their decision.
